Subject Selection - Years 9 and 11, 2022
Thank you to Year 8 and Year 10 students and parents who were able to attend the Subject Selection Night. Students should now be carefully considering their elective preferences for next year and should speak with Faculty Heads if they have any questions about courses. If you were unable to attend the night, Subject Manuals providing details of all courses may be collected from the Senior School office. Please ensure subject preferences are completed online before the end of term in order for your preference to be considered.

Academic Reports
Semester One Reports are being completed at present to inform you of your child’s progress. Please pray for staff as they keep up with the demands of a busy school. I commend each one of them to you and thank them for their work over this semester. As always, should you have any concern with your child’s learning please speak with your child’s teacher.

The requirements in case of illness have not changed. Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste, loss of smell), even mild symptoms, should not be at school and must be tested for COVID-19. Students and staff cannot return to school until they have received a negative COVID-19 test result and are free of symptoms. The negative COVID-19 test result must be sighted by the school prior to their return to school and emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. All visitors to the School must sign in at Reception on arrival using the NSW Government QR code and the School’s sign in procedure.

Public Transport
Hillsbus inspectors visited the School again this week and reminded students of their obligation to always present their Opal card when using public transport and to tap on and off for every journey.

I strongly encourage older children and their younger siblings to use the school transport system available. For information about bus timetables to the School, click here.

Address and Contact details
When contact details change for you or the emergency carer for your child, it is important that you notify the School promptly. Too often, we endeavour to contact parents to find that address or phone numbers are no longer current.
