From the Assistant Principal - Term 2, Week 3, 2021

COVID-19 - update
You will be aware of the NSW Premier’s announcement of precautionary restrictions in place for the Greater Sydney region. Please view the information on the NSW Health website - Current COVID-19 case locations | NSW Government to check the list of venues, the date and times of concern.

A reminder that anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste, loss of smell), even mild symptoms, should not be at school.

Students with respiratory symptoms should be tested for COVID-19 and cannot return to school until they have received a negative COVID-19 test result and are free of symptoms. The negative COVID-19 test result should be provided to the School prior to return and emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

In circumstances where children have other medical reasons for recurrent symptoms a letter from their GP is sufficient to negate the requirement for a negative test.

All visitors to the School must continue to sign in at Reception on arrival, which includes using the NSW Government QR code. Parents who are only dropping off or collecting students from school are not required to sign in.

National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy
NAPLAN testing will take place next week from Tuesday 11 – Thursday 13 May for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. Should students be absent on any of these days they will be able to complete the testing on Friday 14 May.

Parking Adjacent to the School
Families are reminded that parking in public areas adjacent to the School should comply with traffic regulations. Please consider our neighbours and take care to ensure that driveways are not blocked, even for a short time.

Using the School’s Kiss and Drop provides a safe drop of and pick up for students and is the School’s preferred method for the drop off and collection of students. When dropping off, students should be ready to get out of the car with their bag. Students must get out of the car on the passenger side of the vehicle. Drivers are required to remain in their car.

Happy Mother’s Day
To all our wonderful mums and those who have taken on this role, Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you have a great day.

Mr Andrew Waters
Assistant Principal
